At Mount Pakenham we use a progression system for users to learn the park safely.
Whether you're just starting out, or are looking to warm up for the day, always remember to check for obstacles and changes in conditions on each feature. With various parks that contain features of all shapes and sizes, there's no better place to discover your potential.
Freestyle Terrain may contain jumps, hits, ramps, banks, fun boxes, jibs, rails, and other constructed or natural terrain features. Prior to using Freestyle Terrain, you are responsible for familiarizing yourself with Freestyle Terrain and obeying all instructions, warnings, and signs. Freestyle skills require maintaining control on the ground, and in the air.
The features vary in size and difficulty and change constantly due to snow conditions, weather, usage, modifications, grooming and time of day. It is your responsibility to inspect these features before use and throughout the day. You control the degree of risk you will encounter in using these features both on the ground and in the air. Do not attempt these features unless you have sufficient ability and experience to do so safely.
Only one person should use a feature at a time. Wait your turn and call your start. Do not jump blindly and use a spotter when necessary. LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP! Always clear the landing area quickly.
