Mount Pakenham is everyones favorite family ski, snowboard, and snowshoe resort
Facilities
Mount Pakenham is truly the perfect family resort. It boasts 10 great runs from beginner to expert with the facilities to match and snowshoe trails. We have 3 quad chairs, a handle tow, a rope tow and a Carpet Lift. We also have several glades areas for the adventurous ones to explore. All runs bring you back to the main lodge. Early season snowmaking guarantees great snow all season long.
RECENT PROJECTS and UPGRADES:
Summer of 2019 we build a new Rental Shop and summer of 2020 we renovated our Locker Room and added Outside Ticket windows!
More Investments for Winter 2018-2019- Night Skiers will notice our new Low Energy lighting on 100% of the mountain this year.
We renovated our Lodge a few years ago, adding more seating in the cafeteria and lounge, more washrooms and a beautiful stone fireplace. We hope you like it.
New for 2017 were two big projects costing $2.6M : we upgraded our Snowmaking system with new snow guns and increased pumping capability in order to make more snow more quickly. And we installed a new Quad chairlift to replace our Triple chair which increased our uphill capacity on that side of the mountain!

We always hope for tons of natural snow each season, but if Mother Nature does not co-operate, we do not have to worry. Once we get below zero temperatures, our snowmakers prove to us every year that they are the best in the region. Some seasons can be particularly challenging and our snow team manage to deliver great condition regardless.
